Chickpea Soup

Preperation

Combine soaked chickpeas and water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, and simmer until the chickpeas are tender (about 30 minutes). Add the rice, tomatoes and tomato paste. Saute the finely chopped onion in the oil until the onions are golden. Add to the soup and season it salt and pepper.
